Erick Erickson commented on SOLR-6272:
--------------------------------------
It's usually better to post this kind of question on the user's list rather
than open a JIRA
to see if it's a know issue or something in your configuration etc.
There was a recent JIRA https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-6136 that may
be related, can you try this with a 4.x build and see if the problem clears up?
If so, please close this issue.
> Solr node with high cpu usage
> -----------------------------
>
> Key: SOLR-6272
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-6272
> Project: Solr
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Reporter: adrianhsm
> Priority: Critical
>
> Env: 4 node cluster, each node runs in weblogic server on a machine with 4
> cpu, 3 zookeeper cluster, all 3 zookeeper instances run on one machine
> Problem: we try to posting data to a node ( it will distribute data to other
> nodes ), after posting, we found the cpu usage of this node is high, more
> than 360% and it does not drop down even an hour later. then we try to post
> data to this node again, for other 3 node, the messages like
> "...documents..adds...." keep coming out ,but for the busy node, nothing, and
> posting is much slower than before.
