why stop at 20?
if they want indenting, it's for human consumption - if it's for human
consumption, and they have data nested deeper then 20 levels, we might as well
go all the way (because data that complicated is just going to be more
complicated if it stops indenting consistently.
bq. I don't think we should make it configurable (beyond turning on/off)
