Hi Sophie,

The texts seem to be found by the following steps:

 1. Start Writer of OpenOffice.org 3.0 or developer build.
 2. File - New - Labels
 3. In the tab "Label" choose "Avery Zweckform" from "Brand.'
 4. Browse items listed in the combobox "Type."

Source file:

http://svn.services.openoffice.org/ooo/tags/DEV300_m36/officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/Labels.xcu

Installed file:

/opt/openoffice.org/basis3.0/share/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/Labels.xcu

It seems that the texts are names of products delivered by Avery.
Brand "Avery" seems to list products available in the U.S.
Brand "Avery Zweckform" seems to list ones available in Germany.

Do we really need to translate them?

Are you sure, you have to translate it? Looks like someone merged all paper
and label formats into translatable strings not thinking at all (or not
much). Maybe there is an issue about that or should we file one? About 2000
strings, where some hundreds are in German, is a piece of cake. ;)

We should file one because it is non sense to have all those strings in
German as source language. But I'm not sure who is the guilty one we
should complains to and ask him to translate all these strings in
English *first* ;)
Are labels a Writer component ?

Kind regards
Sophie
