Hi all, I'm opening a new thread, but this is a follow up of the discussion between Oliver, Eike and Andre.
I've met several issues during the localization process of 3.0 and would like to discuss them, may be we (I, at least :) can have a better understanding on the whole process after. - their is some strings that we can't locate in our files, they are else where, sometime hard coded, but we don't know where to ask about them?, I've had no response here (see the duplicates entry for shortcut keys customization for example) or learned sometime that dev project are concerned see comment from fs on this issue http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=80592 - the question Oliver asked is another example, it's really not easy for us to know which project we should ask. May be making a wiki page will help? - for spell checker, I happen to know by accident that the sources of the extension should be provided through an issue to have them integrated with the product, may be we should make this information available for l10n team also? - about the integration process, several UI issues that have been corrected in m28 are not integrated in m5, how can we make the process of integration more reliable, shall we provide .sdf files systematically on the issue, shall we open a new issue (assigned to whom? Frank Mau, Ivo, Petr?) containing all the corrections in a .sdf file. - would it be possible that we test the cws localisationXX before it is integrated in master. I'm aware of the very short time but may be it will save some time later in the process if we can check for issues before?
