 There was version OOo 1.1 created for Windows.
 
 I know virtually no gaelic, so it would rely on others around to be willing to 
do the translations.

Hi,

the iso code for Scottish Gaelic is "gd", there are no language patches 
in the source code for gd. So we never integrate Scottish Gaelic yet. 
That means if you are unable to contact one of the Scottish Gaelic 
translation team you have to retranslate everything from bottom up.
