Hello, Kevin, Stefan, and Pavel I'm going to maintain FreeBSD ports that install dictionaries (hyphen, thesaurus etc) for OOo. but I have a problem since files at ftp://somewhere/pub/misc/openoffice/contrib/dictionaries are frequently subjected to change. We FreeBSD port maintainer needs md5 sums for each files, make sure that files are not corrupted. And if files have been changed, we must check the contents and explain what have been changed in the commit log. Otherwise, someone can sneak cheats in the files; this is very dangerous.
I would like to ask following questions. Why I am asking you because authorized answer is extremely important. lead of linguistic component project, l10n project, and Stefan seems to have some power to say somthing. o I think contents of dictionaries are pure data, and no program. Is it right? o if you have history of log of updates of ftp site, please let me know. ftp://somewhere/pub/misc/openoffice/contrib/dictionaries. I just would like to make things clear from everyone.
