Søren,
I would like to write a little more detailed documentation on translating
extras, and I found this old mail of yours.
You have a list of files that need to be translated by hand (I have taken out
the ones that are no longer there:
'installation/extras/source/autotext/lang/en-US/acor_en-US.dat',
acord_en-US.dat seems to be a binary file. What do you do with it? Change the
name only?
'installation/extras/source/misc_config/lang/en-US/labels.ini',
This is a hard one
'installation/extras/source/misc_config/lang/en-US/starmath01.sms',
Change number to country numeric code.
'installation/extras/source/templates/wizard/desktop/lang/en-US/url_transfer.htm',
I have seen the changes. but... why does the "da" one say OpenOffice 1.1 ?
'installation/extras/source/wordbook/lang/en-US/soffice.dic',
I have not seen differences between languages
Would you like me to add anything in the doc about how your script works?
Thanks,
Javier

What exactly needs to be translated, and what in the experience of

I have written a Python script that can extract translatable strings
from the /extras/source/ directory and put them back after you have
translated the strings manually.
However, there are still a few files that needs to be
translated/localised manually. Look for the array manualFilesToTranslate.
The script is available here:

Feel free to ask.
Søren
