cd kafka
gradle

./gradlew releaseTarGz

then kafka/core/build/distributions/kafka-...-SNAPSHOT.tgz contains
in the libs directory two versions of this jar
jackson-annotations-2.8.0.jar
jackson-annotations-2.8.5.jar
