It has been a while, since any progress has been made on this. It is becoming
increasingly important for a lot of users. I am assuming that it is OK, if I
assign this JIRA to myself and start working on it. Multiple people have asked
for updated here and on associated discuss list. I will wait for a day before
assigning the JIRA to myself.
