    HOTFIX: Decrease commit interval

    The original commit interval of 30 seconds might be too large in some 
cases, e.g., when the verifier finishes before those 30 seconds have elapsed.

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/enothereska/kafka 
hotfix-smoke-test-commit-interval

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:
