[~harsha_ch] [~parth.brahmbhatt] This seems to be a big addition to Kafka.
Should we first have a KIP that documents the design for discussion on the
mailing list? Many companies, like LinkedIn and Confluent, have their own Rest
server implementation, probably with some difference in the API.
Developers/users from these companies probably need to discuss and agree on the
API for this Rest server, right?
