Jun, Would be nice to have https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-2106 (if not that, than related https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-1792 ) in 0.9 release. Both have patch provided. If KAFKA-2106 is delivered, maybe KAFKA-1792 is redundant, not needed.
For some reason KAFKA-2106 has "Affects Version/s" set to 0.9, maybe "Fix Version/s" should be set to that value instead. Kind regards, Stevo Slavic.
