Hello, I thought I'd send a quick mail to let you know that I'm currently working hard on a native PHP-Kafka client. Most of the heavy lifting is done by Magnus Edenhill's librdkafka C client, which you list as being robust and offering performance.
I am going to keep working on this extension to get it to the point where I'm confident enough to proclaim it stable, but to speed things up even more, I'd like to get some more eyeballs on the project. Hopefully some contributions or at least feedback in the form of issues being reported. So basically, I was wondering if it were at all possible to list this repo: https://github.com/EVODelavega/phpkafka as the PHP 0.8.x Kafka client? If only to draw some more attention to the fact that work is being done to bring Kafka support to PHP. Thanks in advance. Elias
