Hi Jiunn-Yang, Thanks for running the release. I verified 4.3.2-rc1 as follows:
- Verified the SHA512 checksum and GPG signature of the source tarball. It is signed by Jiunn Yang Huang, whose key is in KEYS. - Built from source with JDK 17 (./gradlew clean build -x test). - Ran the clients and core unit tests: all passed with no retries (clients 13160 passed, core 2329 passed). - Ran the full system tests on the rc1 commit (30e0c713): https://jenkins.opensource4you.tw/job/kafka-e2e/968/ 1116 tests, 1108 passed, 6 failed. I checked the logs of all 6 failures. None of them is related to the changes in rc1. They look like environment or timing issues: share consumer benchmark timeouts, a slow KRaft controller during topic creation, a missed log line in the Streams smoke test, and an out-of-memory error in the producer benchmark tool. Similar failures also happened in the rc0 run and in 4.3 branch runs. I also agree with doing another RC for the Jackson fixes. I will run the same checks on the next RC. Best, Eric
