Hi all, Updated the reopened KIP-1165 with a more complete design for object merging. The proposal defines consolidated topics, which are diskless topics with a tiered prefix. The KIP defines the lifecycle of these topics, behavior and replication: how a record moves through the stages of a topic, how would it be stored and consumed until expiration.
