Hello Team,
I'm writing this email to request permission to create a KIP. I recently
got access to the confluence, but I'm not able to create a KIP. My username
is *Preethi KCS*.
I have been working on a ticket in the Kafka repository. I have been said
to create a KIP to resolve and discuss introducing a new flag in the system
<https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/21826#discussion_r3383831217>. I am
also attaching the card

that I'm currently working on. Please check and let me know if anything
else is needed for me to get access to creating a KIP.
