I am Hitesh Chawla, a Cloud Support Engineer at AWS specializing in Amazon MSK. Over the last 4 years, I have focused on large-scale streaming architecture, specifically addressing broker-side performance and partition scalability for enterprise-grade clusters. Having closely monitored the evolution of KRaft, I’ve requested my Jira and Wiki IDs to begin contributing to Kafka Core. My primary interest lies in improving Metadata stability and optimizing Controller performance to ensure high-throughput reliability in ZooKeeper-less environments.
