The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Kafka is pleased to announce Andrew Schofield as a new Kafka committer.
Andrew has been active in the project since May of 2023 and has contributed a great deal in that time. Most notably, he is the author of KIP-932 Queues for Kafka, which is a major KIP. He also revived KIP-714 Client Metrics and Observability and successfully carried it through. Please join us in welcoming Andrew to their new role and responsibility in the Kafka community.
