Qiheng He created KAFKA-18103:
---------------------------------

             Summary: Kafka's Confluence Wiki appears to reference the wrong
Hive integration site
                 Key: KAFKA-18103
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-18103
             Project: Kafka
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Qiheng He

* When I looked at
[https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=30747974#Ecosystem-SearchandQuery]
 , I noticed that the Kafka documentation referenced
[https://hiveka.weebly.com/] .
 *
{code:java}
Search and Query

Elasticsearch - This project, Kafka Standalone Consumer will read the messages
from Kafka, processes and index them in Elasticsearch. There are also several
Kafka Connect connectors for Elasticsearch.

Presto - The Presto Kafka connector allows you to query Kafka in SQL using
Presto.

Hive - Hive SerDe that allows querying Kafka (Avro only for now) using Hive SQL
{code}

 * This seems odd, since Hive support for Kafka is directly at
[https://github.com/apache/hive/blob/master/kafka-handler/README.md] .
- Is it a typo that the Confluence Wiki for Kafka references HiveKa at
[https://hiveka.weebly.com/] ? Or did the two merge at some point in time?
