Hi David, after some broader testing with Kafka Connect, we've discovered https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-9712 and I'd like to raise this issue as a potential blocker for 2.5.0. It seems to be a regression after a recent essential upgrade of the reflections library. The jira contains all the details, and a PR is under review.
