Hello all, I would like to restart the discussion of this KIP 399 <https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/KIP-399%3A+Extend+ProductionExceptionHandler+to+cover+serialization+exceptions>. I think it is some low hanging fruit that could be quite beneficial.
