Alex O'Ree commented on JSPWIKI-1189: ------------------------------------- had some time to look into this. It looks like there's something that saves the state of the error when switching. Then when the page is done....adjusting... attempts to open modal that is below the whole page. Need to scroll far down to see it. Presents with an on/cancel button but there's no context as to why it's there (no prompts to the user, etc) i'm assuming this is some kind of "hey we noticed you were previously editing this document, here's the content. want us to reuse this or discard the changes". Is that the intent? if it is, a modal...should be a modal. like in your face, action required and on screen, not far off screen. !image-2024-08-17-10-21-42-014.png! > Switching from wysiwyg editing to plain text leaves behind an overlay > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: JSPWIKI-1189 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JSPWIKI-1189 > Project: JSPWiki > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Editors > Affects Versions: 2.12.1 > Reporter: Alex O'Ree > Priority: Major > Attachments: image-2024-03-31-12-36-04-161.png, > image-2024-08-17-10-21-42-014.png > > > not too sure what's going on, but i login, set user preference to dark mode, > save > edit a page, switch to wysiwyg mode, then switch back to plain text and i get > what appears to be a amber tint overlay over the whole screen. Clicking > cancel editing removes it but this is pretty unexpected behavior -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
