Thanks everyone for the input. In the meantime, I reached out to the PSF, and it turns out that it is not allowed to alter the original Python logo. The gap that is between the two snakes is not allowed. Next, the Python logo must be distinct from any other logos. Rick is looking into doing another iteration to address the issues raised by the PSF.
