Hi folks! We have an outstanding JIRA https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-7100 that we would like to get review comments on. A lot of our hive users see their HDFS quotas fill up because their dropped tables went to trash.
The patch adds a new keyword called PURGE just like http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/statements_9003.htm#SQLRF01806 Could you please voice your support / opposition for this addition? Thanks Ravi
