In IfExprStringColumnStringColumn.java :

   outputColVector.setVal(i, arg2ColVector.vector[i], arg2ColVector.start[i], 
arg2ColVector.length[i]);
{code}

This could run into trouble if the source byte array is null.

Similar problem exists in other string templates.
