The API is the same between branches:

but in hadoop 1 mapred.lib.TotalOrderPartitioner contains the method whereas in
hadoop 2 it delegates to mapreduce.lib.partition.TotalOrderPartitioner.
Therefore it makes me wonder if our classpath is wrong when compiling or
perhaps if a clean is not being invoked?
