Hi. I would like to get status for this bug/improvement and take part in fixing/implementing it. The idea is to make JDBC driver JDBC compliant. I would help developers to use Hive JDBC in conjuction with million ORM/SQL building frameworks. Right now It's hard to use Hive JDBC for JOOQ, cool and easy to use SQL buildig framework.
