Ashutosh Chauhan updated HIVE-4690: ----------------------------------- Affects Version/s: 0.11.0 Status: Open (was: Patch Available) I think mapred.max.split.size is still effective in hadoop2, though deprecated. Though not confirmed but I guess what has changed is if you ask for # of files in a dir or a size of dir, then that is now reported by adding those up recursively. If so, then comment is not correct. [~navis] can you verify this? If need be can you also then update the comments in testcase. > stats_partscan_1.q makes different result with different hadhoop.mr.rev > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: HIVE-4690 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-4690 > Project: Hive > Issue Type: Test > Affects Versions: 0.11.0 > Reporter: Navis > Assignee: Navis > Priority: Trivial > Attachments: HIVE-4690.D11163.1.patch > > > stats_partscan_1.q uses mapred.min/max.split.size and logs number of files, > which can be different with different hadoop.mr.rev. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
