It sounds like you're saying that since there are some open bugs with the
current authorization system it's OK to add even more bugs?

time.
I can't think of a single person outside the walls of Facebook who has voiced
any interest in using this feature, yet most of the non-FB Hive users I speak
to list the authorization system as one of their top concerns. I don't think
it's acceptable to run up any more technical debt on the authorization feature.
