Hello Hive Community, I have opened a pull request for the Apache Hive website to make some visual improvements:
PR: https://github.com/apache/hive-site/pull/111 The proposed changes include updates to the background color/style of a section and the addition of a Facebook link. During the review, I received feedback that the color/style changes are subjective and that the existing version is preferred. I was asked to gather feedback from the Hive community before the modification can be merged, specifically to determine whether the community prefers the proposed orange variant. I would therefore appreciate it if community members could take a look at the pull request and share their preference: 1. Existing version – keep the current color/style 2. Proposed orange variant – use the new orange color/style PR #111: https://github.com/apache/hive-site/pull/111 If you prefer the orange variant, please share your feedback on this mailing list. Any comments regarding the visual appearance, consistency with the Hive website, readability, or overall user experience would also be helpful.
