I have tested the 0.10.5, and found a issue that Tez0.10.5 can not be used with Haoop3.3.6, but it's ok with Hadoop 3.4.1. See [1]TEZ-4630. We have change Hadoop version to 3.4.1 since Tez0.10.5, so i think this issue should not prevent the release of version 0.10.5. But it would be good if we can make 0.10.5 work with Hadoop3.3.6, and then users can use tez 0.10.5 without making a big upgrading hadoop to 3.4.1. btw, i also found a Hive issue when testing Tez0.10.5&0.10.4 with Hive latest master branch, see [2]HIVE-28958.
