-1 (non-binding), I would include HIVE-2753. I checked: * The gpg sig and md5 are good of the non-bin tarball are good. * There are a set of empty java files (HIVE-2753). * I ran RAT on the release and found a bunch of files without licenses, which we will need to go through. The only Java files without a license are the empty ones mentioned above and the generated Thrift files that are fine. It is going to take some time to go through the list and fix them all, so I wouldn't hold up this release for that.
