Can anyone point to openly-licensed examples of running the Hive metastore in a container environment?
We'd like to do some integration work with the Hive metastore. In order to make this environment portable, and to integrate into ci/cd processes, a container based approach tends to work well - possibly a single container, or within Kubernetes, perhaps setup via a helm chart (or operator) I've done this myself before for a few components I wanted to use in hadoop on the periphery (atlas, ranger), but before building my own containers and/or charts, (or just scripting a portable setup), I'm interested to understand what is already out there? Ideal would to support multiple nodes, but not strictly required for dev/functional tests >From my searches before, most examples are part of commercial offerings, or are very outdated Any suggestions?
