* verified checksum/etc
* built and run tests locally
* built orc/master against it
* there doesn't seem to be a staged nexus repo for this - but it seems like earlier releases also doesn't had that; meanwhile https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2/org/apache/hive/hive-storage-api/2.7.1/ seems to have them ; I assume it will be also uploaded there along with sources/etc
