I'm undecided about the following: for branch-3 there was an ask to include HIVE-18624; which was already present on branch-2 which is good; but I know about another similar issue HIVE-21980; I've just landed it on all relevant branches - including branch-2.3 I'm not sure if we want to roll another RC to include it - since it needs a specifically constructed large query.
