Hi all, I would like to confirm that, with the current Hive 2.3.6 SNAPSHOT, Spark can pass all tests with JDK 8 and JDK 11 with each build. Therefore, if this was only the one that blocks Hive 2.3.6, it should be good to release now.
Here are official CI build/test results against JDK 11: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/25443#issuecomment-522295117 https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/25443#issuecomment-522235276 https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/25443#issuecomment-522206143 I checked with other Spark people in case - https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/25443#issuecomment-522207828. There are some more minor changes to fix but they are specific to Spark itself and looks fix-able. 2019년 8월 14일 (수) 오전 10:03, Hyukjin Kwon <gurwls...@gmail.com>님이 작성: > Thank you so much, Alan. > > For a quick followup update, seems this is available at > https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachehive-1096/ > FYI, Spark CI is almost ready to trigger JDK 11 in PR.
