Hi, The storage handler mechanism seems like an excellent way to support mixing hive with a traditional database using a generic JDBC storage handler. While that may not always be the best thing to do, is there any work targeted at this integration? Are there any issues or problems preventing such an integration? Any ideas/suggestions for implementation are also welcome!
