What I did was I applied this patch to our trunk
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hive/site/ and then rebuilt forest. The search
box did say "search with search-hadoop" but the search still sent me to google.
Can you confirm that you have built with forest with this change and it works
as expected? To built the site you need forest and to set your java_home to a
1.5 home. It should generate the site locally for testing.
