Dear development community,

I am happy to start the VOTE thread for a Groovy 5.0.7 release!
This version has the two trait behaviors (Java-style now default and
@Virtual to enable the template-method style currently used by at least Grails).
GEP-22 should capture the status of what is back-ported versus only in Groovy 6.

This release includes 16 bug fixes/improvements as outlined in the changelog:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=12318123&version=12356953
