Dear PMC Members, The Grails project is doing really well on their incubation journey. Other groups within the ASF have already commented that the project looks like it is ready for graduation. Grails have also done many releases, shown strong interaction with other areas of the ASF, have shown a strong understanding of the Apache Way, and have completed the Incubator maturity model which indicates no areas of major concern. Apache Grails (Incubating) entered incubation at the start of this year.
So, I'd like to call a formal vote to graduate Apache Grails to become a Top-Level Project (TLP). The vote will be open around 72 hours. I might close slightly shorter than the 72 hours if the decision is clear to meet the reporting requirements of the next board meeting. We kindly request your participation in this vote.
