If record grammar changes are indeed coming for Groovy 4, then I would vote for a beta 2. Release candidate for me would have only small bug fixes, no feature additions.

I am thinking of skipping beta-2 and moving straight to RC-1. Does anyone see problems with this? With JDK17 out, I think it would be good to get Groovy 4 out soon too. Please let me know if there are any changes you think require a beta-2 or anything you regard as must have items for 4.0.0 final.
