Doesn't matter imho, as long as they can supply a developer that can
help with this task part time.
Another related question that has been on my mind: If the Apache Groovy
community had already decided we wanted to get something done in
principle, and had decided on a way forward, would it be ok to help fund
this development on Patreon after the fact ?
if there is a defined time frame we could do this in theory. If this
works for the person that is doing this is another question.
"After the fact" here refers to the decision process of the community,
not the actual work being done...
