Kapa intends to train our documentation, stackoverflow, etc. - Paul mentioned it might be worth training on groovy (we agreed) - We discussed slack history, but Kapa previously mentioned it causes too many hallucinations * David Estes identified the issue with bootRun taking too long - James D opened https://github.com/apache/grails-core/pull/15104 to remove previous optimizations and updated upgrade guide to note how to restore this functionality * The Grails Micronaut forge feature has been enhanced to work out of the box: - https://github.com/apache/grails-core/pull/15105 * As part of our final 7.0 release, we need to ensure the organization is present in our POM. - James D has opened a PR to the grails-publish plugin to support this here: https://github.com/apache/grails-gradle-publish/pull/10 * We reviewed the remaining 7.0 tickets and the hope is we can call a vote next week / decide after the next weekly meeting. -James
