Hi,
I would like to call a vote on releasing Apache Geronimo Mail 1.1.1,
our implementation of the Jakarta Mail 2.1 specification.
This is a bugfix release on top of 1.1.0. Notable changes:
- GERONIMO-6908 / GERONIMO-6909: InternetHeaders rejected legally
repeated headers (e.g. multiple Authentication-Results), so many
real-world messages could not be parsed. This was a regression in
1.1.0; upgrading is recommended.
- GERONIMO-6713: a mail with multiple recipients was sent once per
recipient.
- GERONIMO-6656: folded display names (quotes and spaces spanning a
line fold) failed to parse.
- GERONIMO-6780: OAuth2 (XOAUTH2) can now be enabled with the same
configuration keys as the reference implementation
(mail.<protocol>.auth.mechanisms).
- GERONIMO-6912: upgraded the embedded Apache James Mime4j to 0.8.15.
