Hi everyone, Apache Fluss will be participating in the Community Over Code Glasgow hackathon this October. Our slot is confirmed for Tuesday, 13 October, from 15:00 to 18:40, and we’ve updated the Fluss hackathon page with the initial areas and tasks we’d like to work on:
https://events.apache.org/events/2026/community-over-code/fluss.html We plan to refine the task list further as we get closer to Glasgow. We’re currently preparing a major Fluss release, and once that work settles we’d like to add some interesting and well-scoped areas where contributors can help us improve the project, explore the codebase, and work together with the community. The goal is not only to get a few tasks completed during the hackathon, but also to make it easier for new contributors to get started with Fluss and hopefully continue participating in the project afterwards. If you’re attending Community Over Code and would like to join the Fluss hackathon whether to contribute, suggest a task, or help others get started, please let us know. It’s great to see the hackathon returning to Community Over Code, and we’re looking forward to using it as another opportunity to grow the Fluss community and collaborate face-to-face. See you in Glasgow! -- Anton
