Hi Fluss Community,

The Apache Fluss Project Management Committee (PMC) has invited Cheng
Zhou to become a committer, and we are pleased to announce that Cheng
Zhou is now a Fluss committer.

Cheng has been actively contributing to the Fluss project since its
early days. His main work has focused on the coordinator and server
modules, with a strong emphasis on system stability, observability,
and performance optimization. Key contributions include
CoordinatorServer high availability, ZooKeeper operation retry and
async optimization, table/partition creation and deletion
acceleration, multi-level partition support, dynamic configuration for
log replica ISR, and follower replica fetcher bug fixes. He also made
significant contributions to the metrics system, including user-level
byteIn/byteOut metrics, CoordinatorEventProcessor monitoring,
bucket/partition count metrics, and metric granularity improvements
from bucket-level to table/server-level.

Notably, Cheng has driven a critical FIP that significantly enhances
Fluss's production readiness:
FIP-9: Support CoordinatorServer High Availability[1] - This feature
introduces leader election and failover for CoordinatorServer with
epoch-based fencing, eliminating the single point of failure and
ensuring continuous cluster coordination during server restarts or
crashes.
