Hi David, Thanks for the proposal and the great discussion on introducing GEOGRAPHY as a native Flink logical type. I agree with Sergey that we should implement this in Calcite first before bringing it to Flink. If we don't, there is a risk someone else might introduce a similar type in Calcite, leaving us to maintain both.
