Hi, devs, This is the sixth meeting for Flink 2.1 release cycle, also the last sync meeting before feature freeze. I'd like to share the information synced in the meeting.
- Feature Freeze *IMPORTANT*: Feature Freeze is June 21, 2025, 00:00 CEST (UTC+2), only two days left, if you want to release your feature in 2.1, please pay attention to this time! - Features: We ended up with a collection of 15 FLIPs in this release, 8 of which have been completed and the remaining 7 are in development, all of which are expected to be completed by feature freeze time Release-2.1 main story related features progress: 1. FLIP-525 AI Model: merged 2. FLIP-521 Variant Type: confirmed with contributors that it will be completed before feature freeze. 3.
