Hi everyone, On behalf of the PMC, I'm happy to let you know that Yanquan Lv has become a new Flink Committer!
Since joining the Flink community in September 2023, Yanquan has made significant contributions to the Flink CDC and Connector projects, establishing himself as a core contributor. He authored 129 pull requests (PRs) , reviewed 176 PRs. With over 100 commits , he enhanced multiple repositories like Flink CDC, Flink and various Connector repositories. He integrated Paimon/Iceberg sink connectors for CDC YAML and introduced AI model syntax support , advancing Flink CDC’s functionality. Additionally, Yanquan played a key role in adapting Connectors (Kafka, JDBC, Elasticsearch) to Flink 2.0, cleaning up legacy APIs and promoting its adoption. Beyond code contributions, as the release manager for Flink CDC 3.3 and 3.4, Yanquan successfully manages the release process. Yanquan actively engaged in community discussions, participating in 78 threads on the Flink dev mailing list and answering over 29 threads on user mailing lists , while assisting users in forums.
