Currently, Flink CDC is utilizing Debezium (DBZ) version 1.9.2.Final, which is
significantly outdated. The release of DBZ 2.0.0 represents a major update that
requires JDK 11.
Since Flink CDC is currently running on JDK 1.8, upgrading to DBZ 2.0.0 will
require an upgrade to JDK 11 as well.
